Order Numbers

  • 330-3B-A/78G-78-S-R (before slash is hub model, after slash is blade model)
    • Hub
      • 330 = hub series
      • 3B = number of blades
      • A = SAE-2 1/2" flange
        B = SAE-2 7/16" flange
    • Blade
      • 78G = Blade Style
      • diameter
      • S = Standard operation (increase pressure to increase pitch, goes to flat pitch on oil pressure loss)
        C = Counter-Weight (feathers on oil pressure loss)
      • R = right hand turn (clockwise as seen from pilot)
        L = left hand turn

Specs

  • Weight: 55 lbs (62 lb for counter weighted model)
  • Governor: Pressure to increase pitch, meaning engine will overspeed on oil pressure loss and prop will not feather
    (they also make a counter-weighted version which feathers on oil pressure lost - but it's 7 lb heavier, more expensive, and not available with 13" spinner for standard Van's RV-10 cowl, only fits larger 14 and 15 inch spinners)
