  • Make sure your P-mags are timed correctly before your first start!!! VAF Thread 1/18/2019
  • The problem is engine builders don't understand how the P-mags operate and if you remove or turn them to hang your engine, all bets are off. The "A curve" (jumper in) is more advance than desirable (starts at almost 27°) and the "B curve" (no jumper) is WAY more advance than you want! (It starts at 30°) There is a recording of a talk Bill Repucci gave to VAF. It is worth watching YouTube video.
  • The setup procedure is to set TDC and the do some button pushes to tell it. The body can be in any orientation. If possible, I recommend pointing the LED/button up and out to make it easier to see/press during setup and troubleshooting.
